Package Loader |
Package loader is an integral part of the VIPbox platform that provides a way to
convert virtually any application in a downloadable module to the VIPbox.
A module can be downloaded into the VIPbox and an application can be run as an integral part of the system - as a system
daemon or as a stand-alone application. |

Video |
VIPbox is capable of streaming up to 12 MB of video content in mpeg1, mpeg2 and mpeg4 formats. Exceptional picture quality,

There are different means to control opacity and blending of video and graphics
in the system, therefore products based on the VIPbox technology present an advanced and versatile solution for the video applications.
VIPbox platform provides audio streaming support for mp3 and ac-3

Browser |
VIPbox platform features a built-in browser, which has almost the same robust functionality as in desktop browsers.
Tivella's VIPbox browser is based on the Mozilla rendering engine. Our own unique look-and-feel provides the highest quality TV HTML pages available.
The browser supports nearly two dozens plugins, including Java, Shockwave, Flash 3-6, etc.
Six languages input is provided by VIPbox platform - chinese/japanese/taiwanese/
hebrew/russian/english, making the product truly international.
In order to accomodate needs of different businesses, the browser can be operated using mouse navigation as well as mousless geographic

TV |
TV Tuner enhances VIPbox platform with either PAL or NTSC format. It performs auto scanning of the channels,
providing a quality viewing experience for the user.
VIPbox supports general TV and VGA/SVGA types of output.
Its unique way of handling picture-in-picture allows users to choose picture-in-picture
position almost everywhere on the screen
There are various on-screen displays for the channel number and volume control, as well as extended TV Tuner API that allows creating versatile video applications.

ipTV |
UDP based multicast transmission of video allows simultaneous delivery of the video into the subscribed STBs over IP
networks. VIPbox implements multicast in various manners, using it as an ipTV, live video broadcasts and in the security businesses. User-friendly dialogue allows users to subscribe to multicast sessions.
VIPbox supports SAP protocol, which allows detection of different multicast ransmission on the fly and displaying them in a list with the user-specified preferences:
